Matt Borries was born and raised in beautiful Marin county. His eye for detail and color has boosted his photography portfolio. Matt studied photography for three consecutive years at Sir Francis Drake High School and continued to expand his knowledge in college. While working for PRANDI Property Management Inc. in San Rafael, Matt has taken unique photographs of the properties around Marin. While working for the company, he became inspired by the beauty of Marin.

While also being a local surfer, Matt is inspired by the California coastline. He's often up before dawn for a morning surf and takes the long route to the top of the Marin Headlands to photograph the wonders of San Francisco's infamous landscape. As a skilled surfer, his advantage comes from his long-standing relationship with the water. His photography mainly focuses on, but is not limited to, brilliantly colorful landscapes and the California coastline.
